World Vision
World Vision’s 30 Hour Famine -- by going without food for 30 hours; to get a taste of what the world's poorest children and families face everyday.  Prior to the event weekend, students raise funds with the knowledge that every $30 they raise can help feed and care for a child for a month.  Groups also are encouraged to perform hands-on service projects during the weekend in order to make a difference in their own community as well.

Operation Christmas Child/Samaritan's Purse

Caring individuals, families, schools, churches, civic clubs and other organizations in thousands of cities in all 50 states and 11 additional countries will fill some 8 million shoe boxes with personal gifts, school supplies, candy, necessity items, family photos and notes of encouragement.  More than 500,000 volunteers worldwide, including some 100,000 volunteers in the United States, will join forces to prepare the boxes for transport to distant lands.

SYATP

“Engage: Go and pray . . .” (2 Kings 22:13a) is the theme for See You at the Pole this year at schools throughout the nation and in many other countries. Next year's date is September 23.  See You at the Pole™ is a student-initiated, student organized, and student-led event. That means this is all about students meeting at their school flagpole to pray—for their school, friends teachers, government, and their nation. See You at the Pole™ is not a demonstration, political rally, nor a stand for or against anything.
